The Heart Behind IAP Inc.: A Journey of Purpose, Perseverance, and Promise
Every great story begins with a simple moment that defines a lifetime. For me, it was the day my father and I divided a single egg to eat because that was all we had. From that humility was born a fierce determination promise to build not just a life, but a legacy. That promise carried me across oceans to Cape Cod, where with nothing but hope, faith, and the love of family, I began to paint a new reality.
Arriving as a young Brazilian immigrant in 1997, I embraced every challenge. Working alongside my brother-in-law Anderson Biazzola and learning the craft with every brushstroke, I built skills rooted in my father’s legacy of hard work and integrity. Thanks to the unwavering support of teachers like Mrs. Joan, Cristen, and Rob at Barnstable High School, I learned English, breaking down barriers to connect with coworkers and future clients alike.
My journey was shaped by the kindness of mentors and friends, especially Stephen Bibo and his wife Sue, who introduced me to Michael DeAngelo of D’Angelo Builder—a man who became like a brother, offering me my first opportunities and guiding my entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2001, I launched Almeida Painting, carrying my name with pride. By 2017, the company evolved into IAP Inc., a strong brand that represents dedication, quality, and trust. I was fortunate to support my father and family financially, weaving that promise of care and responsibility into every project I undertook.
Today, I am more than a painter—I am a husband and father of two amazing kids. They are my greatest motivation and inspiration. I am constantly learning new skills, embracing every chance to grow and innovate so my business can serve families even better. That’s why I am excited to expand IAP Inc. beyond painting into comprehensive home improvement services, transforming houses into dream homes.
The true measure of success for me isn’t just the beauty of a freshly painted wall or the precision of a trim—it’s the trust I build and the relationships I nurture.
